Mike joined Recovery Coaching Services in February 2014. A person in long term recovery, he is a 1978 graduate of RACC with a Business Management, AAS degree and a graduate of Albright College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Mike is a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS), a Certified Family Recovery Specialist (CFRS), and is certified by the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs in many other areas, some of which include Relapse Prevention, The Spirituality of Recovery, Screening and Assessment, Trauma and Addiction, and Women and Addiction. Mike is an avid volunteer in the Berks County community. He received the Berks County United Way Live United Champion Award in 2014. Mike serves on a number of non-profit boards, including Secretary of the Berks Community Action Program, Vice Chair of the Berks Community Health Center, President of the Million Youth Chess Club, and past Board Member of United Way-Berks County. Mike is an avid traveler, having visited all 50 of the 50 United States. He is a long distance runner, and has participated in 18 full marathons. He is a stamp collector and an avid gardener, having been a Reading Fair contestant over the last 15 years.
